Redwood trees growing along the northern coast of California are the oldest and largest living things on earth. Some are over 2000 years old and many are older the US government.

This report maps the 10 tallest California redwoods. Several grow alongside easy hiking trails. It’s always a good time to visit the redwoods. Even on rainy days you’ll stay dry because the high canopy redirects the raindrops to nourish the trunks.
