Is climate change real or just a myth? Is it a natural phenomenon or human induced? While most scientists believe climate change is real and human induced, they are finding it difficult to make everyone believe it. A big part of world population does not believe in climate change, which includes top level legislators around the world who have the power to make positive changes.
Global warming is one of the key factors in climate change. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, which makes the Earth warmer. For my project I will look into historical data on Earth’s temperature and green house emission to see if there is a positive correlation between the two variables; Earth’s average yearly temperature increase and increase in greenhouse gas emission. Finally, I will conduct a sentiment analysis on twitter data to get an idea on public opinion on the issue of climate change.
