Comparison of Voter Turnout in US elections between 1980 and 2014
October 26, 2016
In this plot, the voter turnout in every US election since 1980 has been shown as a group bar chart. The congressional election voter turnout is consistently higher in the presidential election year compared to the non-presidential election year. Also noticable is that the voter turnout for the Presidential election is higher than the congressional elections.
