Fever and Fever Reducer

  • Children's normal temperature vary with their age, activity, and the time of day. Parents should be very concerned if the kid's temperature is at or above (see refs here ):

    • 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit for children under 3 months old
    • 101 degrees Fahrenheit for children between 3 and 6 months old
    • 103 degrees Fahrenheit for children over 6 months old
  • Tylenol is commonly used to reduce fever and relieve pain. Improper dosing (much larger amounts can cause fatal overdoses) is one big problem.

  • Dosage differs for children of different ages.
