You want to know for these 1000 randomly chosen movies: What is the relationship between the year the movie was made and the IMDB rating?

There is no relationship evident between movie release year and rating.

b)

As best you can, answer this question: Within these 1000 movies, do comedies get rated higher than non-comedies?

No; you can see that both comedies and non-comedies vary widely in rating and that there is no clear correlation between comedies or non-comedies and IMDB rating. Looking at the regression lines for comedies and non-comedies you see that with exceptions of a few years comedies are generally not rated higher than non-comedies.

I want to know about popularity trends of the name “Casey” as a male name and as a female name over the years.

b)

Given this graphic, what can you say about the name “Casey”? Don’t merely describe what is already apparent on the graphic, but make a broader statement.

With the exception of the late 1990s, Casey has always been a more popular name for males than females. It began an upward trend in popularity around the time that wildly popular radio DJ Casey Kasem founded and hosted American Top 40.
