Part 1: Babyname Trend: Hermoine

I choose the name Hermoine, from the popular series Harry Potter, and I predicted that the name would spike around when the Harry Potter movies and books came out, around 1997. When I looked at the graph, my hypothesis was correct, after the first movie came out the name use of the name Hermoine increased dramatically. Yet I was surprised to see that the name was in fact used during the 1920s which I found very interersting because I didn’t know that the name had ever been used before.
