The relation between Water Quality, Quantity and availability with Water Distribution in Tanzania
The goal of this study is to try to identify the best predictors of Water Distribution Functional Status from factors such as distribution point’s characteristics like management, age and also water quality, quantity and availability.
Life depends on water. Potable water is a precious resource priced higher than petrol (gasoline) in some regions around the world. Water availability, often taken for granted, is an important issue. It has been a problem in poor and desolated regions and will become even more so with the global growing population.
Being able to predict the distribution status in advance can make the life of poor populations in Tanzania less harsh and also help in organising resources to repair faulty wells or water sources.
