A small city guide, made to explore

Cologne is best explored at walking pace: follow the Rhine, cross a landmark bridge, then duck into a garden or a leafy park. This interactive map brings together five places that show different sides of the city.

How to use the map

  • Select a marker to read a short description.
  • Hover over a marker to see its place name.
  • Use the layer control to show or hide categories.
  • Zoom and pan to explore the area around each stop.

A note on the map

The map uses Leaflet with OpenStreetMap-derived CartoDB Positron map tiles. The markers are illustrative city-guide points; check current access and opening information before visiting.
