ABOUT ME

My name is Nick Eisenheim. I have moved every few years since I was 4 years old. I moved to San Antonio in 2021 to start my schooling at UTSA. I graduated high school from American Overseas School of Rome in Rome, Italy. I was able to travel the world and explore most of Europe during my formative years in school. My dad worked for the U.S. Department of State. A fun fact about me is that I have traveled to more countries in Europe and the Middle East than I have states in the U.S.

Academic Background

My academic background is not very impressive so far. I graduated high school in 2021 and I have been in college at UTSA since then. I do not currently plan on doing further schooling but I am open to the idea in the future.

Professional Background

I have worked a few jobs. Growing up overseas and moving as often as I did made it hard to work regularly. My first summer job was working for the mail room at the Embassy in Rome. It was fun I enjoyed sorting the mail and making sure that we got the correct amount of mail that we were to receive. After that I worked as a camp counselor at a summer basketball camp. Once I moved back to the U.S. I got my first “real” job at a fast food restaurant. I left that job after 3 years and I currently work at an upscale Italian restaurant. I am a server most days that I am there but every once and awhile I will supervise for them when they need me to.

Experience with R and Data Mining

I have used R in a few courses before this one and I enjoyed using it. It is quite straight forward and intuitive which I like because I thought it was going to be a lot more difficult. I do not think I have done nay sort of data mining in the past and if I have I don’t believe that it was anything super intense.

Experience with other Software

I have some experience with R and Python. I have used SAS and JAMOVI briefly for some other courses. I am open to learning new software because I think it will only benefit my future.
