Introduction

Headshot of Myself
Headshot of Myself

My name is Savara Bhatti, I am attending my last semester of college before I graduate with my Bachelors in Data Analytics in December. My goal in life is to make my father proud and to work at USAA in my degree field. I’m currently 23 years old and like traveling, going to the gym, and attending concerts.

More About Me!

I am a student interested in business, finance, and data analytics. I am currently working part-time at a financial advising agency and like seeing how a non-corporate business functions. In reality, I wanted a job somewhere more renowned but in the space I am in, they allow me to feel more like family than a number, due to the business size. I am the youngest employee and hope to become full-time once I graduate to add more finance education to my resume.

Academic Background

I attended Warren High School and graduated class of 2021. I did transition to community college around the COVID regulated times so I had struggled with being dedicated. Over time, I graduated with my Associates in Business Administration from Northwest Vista College. I immediately wanted to continue my education and applied to UTSA for a Bachelors. I am currently in the Professional Business Woman Society (PBWS) and have gained knowledge from other women that are expierenced in the job market. As I mentioned, I will be graduating this semester and honeslty can’t wait to walk the stage to move foward in my life. I hope to one day continue my education with a Masters degree, paid from my future employers.

Professional Background

The role I am currently in is a Client Services Analyst. It is an office job under a Retirement agency and I am a significant piece of their team. Originally, I was searching for an internship but with this economy I needed something more financially stable. Through school, I’ve learned an exponential amount of skills and am familiar with coding softwares, Tableau, statistics, and analyzing data. In the future, I do hope to utilize my degree but I will say coding isn’t too much of my strong suit, I am most efficient with math formulas and consider myself as an outgoing person. I have volunteered when I have an opportunity through my organization and usually find myself leading the conversation.

Experience with R and Data Mining

I have taken many coding and programming classes to different extents. I have particularly learned the most in SAS and since have heard its a dying program. With R, I have learned the basics and completed codes analyzing imported data, although with the complications and the many different concepts, I do struggle to retain the information. Tableau I felt was fairly easy and efficient to figure out and have completed projects with the goal of analyzing a perodic fall of a company in the lowest category, over a period of time. As in excel or any other office desktop app, I am really familiar with those mechanics due to my years of clerical employment. As for statistics, I do enjoy math and fidgeting with numbers, and have considered pursuing it with my Masters but time will tell.

Something Interesting About Me!

I am very outgoing and really want to live my life to the fullest. I have been afraid of many things and I still try not to let it stop me. Every now and then, I do consider being a politician just because I want to make a difference but I also want to have a stable lifestyle. My father taught me to take care of myself, and my family. I want to flourish enough in this lifetime to repay him and to lead a successful legacy.
