Who Am I?

Hello! My name is Mihir. I am currently a senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) studying Business Analytics.

A Synopsis of Who I Am

I am currently a student at UTSA studying Business Analytics in my senior year. Outside of school, I enjoy staying active and spending time on hobbies that help me relax and have fun.

Some of my favorite activities include:

  • Bowling
  • Playing tennis
  • Swimming
  • Playing video games

I am interested in continuing to build my skills in data analysis and learning how different analytical tools can be used to solve real-world business problems.

Academic Background

I graduated from Brandeis High School in 2022.

I am currently attending UTSA, where I am studying Business Analytics. I expect to graduate in May 2027.

Professional Background

I worked as a crew member at Chick-fil-A for a short period from September 2022 through November 2022.

This experience gave me the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with customers, and work together with other team members.

Experience with R and Data Mining

At UTSA, I have taken several classes that involved data cleaning and data analysis. Through these courses, I have gained experience working with data and learning how to prepare it for analysis.

I have experience using several analytical programs, including:

  • RStudio
  • Python
  • SAS
  • Tableau

I am still developing my skills, but I am comfortable working with these programs and using them for class assignments and data-related projects.

Here is a simple example of R code to find mean:

scores <- c(85, 90, 88, 92, 95)
mean(scores)
## [1] 90

The code above creates a small set of values and calculates the average.

Experience with Other Analytic Software

In addition to RStudio, I have worked with Python, SAS, and Tableau. I have used these tools in my coursework to work with data, perform analysis, and create visualizations.

I look forward to gaining more experience with these programs as I continue my Business Analytics studies at UTSA.

Thank you for reading my introduction!
