Who am I?

My name is Regina Garcia, I am 20 years old, and I am originally from Laredo, TX. I have two siblings: an older brother who is 25 and a little sister who is 7. In 2023, I moved to San Antonio to start my college education. Outside of school and work, I love music, especially going to concerts!

Synopsis

I am a student passionate about data analysis and finance, with professional experience working in a support agency for people with disabilities. In the future, my goal is to work for the government and travel the world.

Academic Background

My educational journey includes the following stages: * Ages 5 to 13: Completed my basic education in Mexico. * Ages 14 to 17: Attended high school in Laredo, TX. * Age 17 to Present: Studying at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).

Professional Background

My work experience has evolved over the years: * High School: Worked as a waitress. * Early College: Secured a position as a student worker at the Student Union info desk. * Present: Work for an agency dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities, where I currently manage the company’s analytics and finances.

Experience with R and Data Mining

Last semester, I took a class with Professor Humphries where I was introduced to R and statistical programming, although the primary tool used in that course was DataCamp.
