Synopsis

Hi :) I’m Hillary, a senior student at The University of Texas.
I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics,
and I’m on track to graduate in the spring of 2027.

Academic Background

Professional Background

I enrolled into college right after high school. My goal has always been to pursue
higher education, and I do plan on pursuing a Master’s degree after graduation.
During my college career, I’ve worked multiple part-time jobs including
a position as a floor saleswoman at the shoe store, Steve Madden ,
and as a server/bartender at the restaurant and brewhouse, NOVO Brazillian Brewing Co.

Experience in R

Most of my experience in R comes from previous years as a college student.
I’ve used the language often in past courses and continue to use it in my current courses.
I’m still learning how to program with R, and I’ll continue
to improve my skills both as a student and as a professional.

Experience with Other Analytic Software

Like my experience with R,
much of my experience with other analytic software
comes from my previous years as a student.
I’ve used Excel and Sheets way before using other software.
I’ve taken courses on SQL outside of school on
sites like Treehouse and Coursera

In college, I’ve taken classes on:
- SAS
- Tableau (my personal favorite)
- Excel
- R
