Hi! I’m Owen, a senior Business Analytics student at UTSA. I enjoy playing and improving at video games (I just recently hit masters on League of Legends), collecting Pokemon cards, and running.

Professional Background

I have been working in the curbside department for HEB since November 2023. I have three different jobs that I do with the company which are:

• Curbie
• In-Store Shopper
• EFC Partner

I very much enjoy working for HEB as they pay well and take good care of their employees.

Experience With R and Data Mining

I have used R in other classes before BAN4373, so I am somewhat familiar with how things are. I have not used R Markdown before so this is new to me. I have not done much Data Mining, but I have taken a few courses on data manipulation and data visualization, which it seems falls under the Data Mining umbrella.

Experience with other analytic software

I have used some Python, SAS, and Tableau. I quite enjoy using Tableau, as I have made a project myself using Tableau to visualize League of Legends game data. I have also used Excel quite a bit.
