Who Am I?

Synopsis:

Hello! My name is Trinity Schroeder. I am 22 years old and a senior at UTSA. I would consider myself a very driven, organized, hardworking, creative, and open-minded person. In my free time, I enjoy coloring, painting, cooking, going to the gym, and hanging out with my friends. I am originally from Miami but moved to San Antonio in 2018 after my dad got a corporate job at H-E-B. I also have a younger brother, and we are very close. He has taught me a lot about patience and how to communicate better with others. In the future, I hope to become a business owner or work in operations for a large company. I would also love to have a career that allows me to travel, as traveling is one of my biggest passions. For now, I am figuring out my way through life one day at a time.

Academic Background:

I graduated high school in 2022 and started my college experience at Northeast Lakeview Community College. I transferred to UTSA in 2023 after earning my Associate Degree in Business Management at Lakeview because I wanted to further my education. I will graduate from UTSA in May 2027, and I could not be more excited.

Professional Background:

My first well-paying job was actually at CVS Health. I was an assistant manager for three years right out of high school and learned a lot about the operations of a company. I then worked at Salad & Go, which closed down last September. I was an assistant manager at two different locations and loved my time there, especially working with my employees. After Salad & Go closed, I started working as a barista at Starbucks so I could spend more of my time focusing on school. I enjoy my job at Starbucks, and it is fulfilling for the time being. Since 2022, I have also been a nanny for multiple families, which has helped me improve my communication skills and become a better person overall.

Experience with R, Data Mining, & Other Analytic Software:

I do not have much experience with R or data mining. I have taken two other courses where programming was a required skill, but I don’t feel like they taught me very much. My dad used to be a programming professor at Miami Dade Community College, so he has been my biggest support and tutor so far. In 2025, I became pretty familiar with Python and have been trying to teach myself more programming and data-related skills since then. I have also used SAS and SQL software before. They were not the easiest to learn but I started to get the hang of them by the end of the semester. I definitely have room for improvement, but that is one of my biggest focuses this semester.
