Scentware manufacturing workflow guide

A reorganization of the Manufacturing → Omara MFG folder tree into a working pipeline, with a description of what each document is for. Links are preserved from the source document.

Stage 1 — SOP & procedures (the rulebook)

These documents define how every downstream stage should be done. Nothing in stages 2-5 should contradict these.

Document Purpose
Cartridge Status Definitions Defines the standard status labels used to describe cartridge state (e.g. pass/fail/hold categories) so everyone tags cartridges consistently.
MFG Overview Phases Defined (two links to what looks like the same doc) High-level map of the manufacturing phases from raw materials to finished device — likely the conceptual source for this very workflow.
OMARA Device Testing Punchlist Checklist of testing tasks/checks to run against an OMARA device — likely the operational companion to the rating logic and SOP docs.
Scentpack SpinUp Process Outline Procedure for standing up a new scentpack/cassette batch — the step-by-step for the “Prep & planning” stage below.
SOP: Device Testing – Wise Ally The formal device-testing SOP, styled after the WiseAlly reference — this is the same SOP you modeled your own Device QA SOP on.

Insight: This folder is thin relative to how much testing/QC activity depends on it. If you’re formalizing the v4.1 grading rubric, this is the natural home for that document once it’s finalized.

Stage 2 — Prep & planning

Sets up cassette groupings, dosing, and scaling before testing begins.

Omara MFG Prep | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | New Cassette Groupings 03-18-2026 | Defines which cassettes are batched together for a given production run. | | Cartridge Scaling | Calculates how cartridge fill volumes/quantities scale with batch size. | | MFG: Spin Up | Working sheet for standing up a new manufacturing run (staffing, materials, timeline). |

Forms (used throughout prep and production) | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | MFG Time Traveler | Historical/retroactive time-logging tool — lets you back-fill or reconstruct production timing. | | Fragrance Oil Dosing Amount | Reference for how much fragrance oil to dose per cartridge/cassette. | | Production: MFG Time Tracker | The current, active time-tracking sheet for production labor. | | Production: Time Tracking Template | Blank template version of the above — used to spin up new tracking sheets per run. |

Placeholder/structural folders (no files listed, likely staging areas): Shiny App, MFG-001-009 (Folders), DV5 x APP Cassettes, Devices, DV4 January.

Stage 3 — Device & cassette testing

Where raw test data is generated and stored. This is the layer your P080 data-engineering work pulls from.

Test Manager | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | 03B002 & 023001 Investigation: Aggregated Cassette QC Testing Data Review | Investigation workbook aggregating QC data for two specific cassette lots/serials — a targeted failure investigation, similar in spirit to your 41F92081 cassette work. | | Omara Cartridge QC Data | Raw/processed cartridge-level QC results. | | Omara Cartridge QC Inputs | The input parameters/config feeding the cartridge QC process (as opposed to the outputs above). | | Production: Omara DV5 Cassette QC Data | Production QC export for the DV5 device generation. | | Production: Omara DV6 Cassette QC Data | Production QC export for DV6 — likely one of the raw source files behind your unified QuickTest/IdleTest master files. | | TestManager-v10.0.2.zip | The actual Test Manager software application used to run device tests. | | archived DV6 data | Retired/superseded DV6 data — worth checking for legacy-system exports your dedup work may need. | | Archived Test Manager Files | Old versions/configs of the Test Manager tool itself. |

Ubiquitous Testing (a parallel, broader testing track — “MFG0xx” batch reviews) | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | Ubiquitous MFG017 Data Review | Batch-specific test data review for run MFG017. | | MFG015 Ubiquitous Testing Results | Narrative results write-up for run MFG015. | | Ubiquitous Cassette Testing Data Review Template | Blank template for standing up a new MFG0xx data review. | | Ubiquitous MFG018 Cassette Testing Data Review | Batch review for run MFG018. | | Ubiquitous MFG016 Data Review | Batch review for run MFG016. | | Ubiquitous Testing with Test Manager App | Procedure doc explaining how ubiquitous testing is run inside the Test Manager app — the operational bridge between the two testing tracks. | | Ubiquitous MFG019 Cassette Testing Data Review | Batch review for run MFG019 — the most recent in this numbered series. |

Insight: The MFG0xx numbering (015 → 019) suggests these are sequential dated batches. If you haven’t already, cross-referencing this series against your P080 E30 Errors tracker could reveal whether “Insufficient Data” flags cluster around specific MFG runs rather than being randomly distributed.

Stage 4 — QA/QC analysis

The evaluative layer — where raw test results get graded, aggregated, and turned into decisions.

Document Purpose
Production: Performance Codes Revamped The updated code/scoring scheme used to classify device or cartridge performance — likely the rubric layer your v4.1 grading logic builds on.
QC Data: Aggregated – DV5 Rolled-up QC results across all DV5 testing.
QC Data: Aggregated – DV6 Rolled-up QC results across all DV6 testing — the closest existing analog to your QC Explorer dashboard’s underlying dataset.
Production: Omara Cartridge/Device QA/QC — MFG-Template (and a “[NEW]” duplicate) Standard template for recording cartridge/device QA/QC results per batch; the “[NEW]” version is presumably a revised template superseding the original.
Production: Omara – Inventory, Filling, QA/QC (2025) Combined inventory + filling + QA/QC tracker from 2025 — an earlier, more consolidated precursor to the split trackers used now.
Archived Files Retired versions of the above.

Stage 5 — Admin tracking & reporting

Where individual QC/testing results get consolidated into cassette-level admin records, throughput reporting, and inventory oversight.

Ubiquitous Testing → SOPs/Documentation | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | Cassette Admin SOP | Governs how cassette-level admin records should be maintained — the rulebook for the tracker sheets below. |

Omara MFG Report | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | Omara Weekly Testing Throughput Tracker | Weekly rollup of how much testing volume was completed — a management-facing cadence report. |

Inventory | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | Production: MFG Inventory Consumables | Tracks consumable stock (oils, cartridges, filters, etc.) used in production. |

Archived Files (the largest, most heterogeneous folder — a mix of active admin tools and true archive) | Document | Purpose | |—|—| | New Cassette Groupings and Ubiquitous Log | Combined log linking cassette groupings to their ubiquitous test runs. | | Foam Cutting Tool Validation | Validation record for a physical tooling process (foam cutting for cassette inserts). | | Destination Log for Device | Tracks where finished devices are shipped/allocated to. | | Cassette Allocation and MFG Next Steps | Planning doc for what happens to a cassette batch after testing (allocation decisions, follow-up actions). | | Early Version Copy of DV6 Admin Tracker (20260225) | Superseded early draft of the DV6 Admin Tracker. | | Kickstarter: Device & Cassette Allocation | Allocation tracker tied to a Kickstarter fulfillment obligation — likely reward/backer unit assignment. | | Omara Dashboard | A summary dashboard view across the Omara product line — conceptually adjacent to your own DV6 QC Explorer. | | Device Intake Procedures | SOP for receiving/logging devices when they first arrive for testing. | | Full Test: Rating Logic | Documents the scoring/rating logic specifically for the Full Test stage — directly relevant to your v4.1 rubric work. | | MFG Device Testing: Operation Procedure | Step-by-step operating procedure for running device tests on the floor. | | Admin Tracker: MFG Data Query Changes & Functions | Changelog/reference for query logic and functions used inside the Admin Tracker spreadsheet — useful if you ever need to replicate its logic in your Python pipeline. | | Copy of DV6 Admin Tracker | A duplicate/backup copy of the tracker below. | | DV6 Admin Tracker | The master admin tracker for DV6 — cassette-level status, likely the closest existing system to what your QC Explorer is meant to modernize. | | MFG Admin Workflow | Maps the overall admin workflow steps for manufacturing — a process doc rather than a data tracker. | | Omara Pro: Fragrance Oil Demand | Forecasts/tracks fragrance oil consumption demand for the Omara Pro line. |

Cross-cutting observations

  • Duplicates worth resolving: two identical links for “MFG Overview Phases Defined,” two versions of the “Cartridge/Device QA/QC — MFG-Template” (one marked “[NEW]”), and both a “Copy of” and canonical “DV6 Admin Tracker.” Worth confirming which is authoritative before anyone builds new tooling against them.
  • “Archived Files” is doing double duty. It holds genuinely retired documents (early tracker drafts) alongside what look like active admin tools (DV6 Admin Tracker, Omara Dashboard, Full Test Rating Logic). If this mirrors your P080 dedup problem — legacy vs. current system confusion — it may be worth flagging for a folder cleanup pass, the same way you’ve been cleaning up legacy vs. new QC exports.
  • Your DV6 QC Explorer sits at the intersection of Stage 3 (Test Manager/Ubiquitous exports) and Stage 4/5 (QC Data Aggregated, DV6 Admin Tracker, Omara Dashboard) — it’s effectively proposing to unify three separate existing artifacts into one interactive tool.
