Daily Russian Checklist (45-Day Plan)

Week 1 — Foundation (Days 1–7)

Day 1 — Alphabet/reading speed drill; быть; personal pronouns (я/ты/он…)
Day 2 — Present tense, -е- conjugation verbs (читать, работать, знать)
Day 3 — Present tense, -и- conjugation verbs (говорить, любить, видеть)
Day 4 — “To have”: у меня есть + possession basics
Day 5 — Question words: что, кто, где, когда, почему, как; forming questions
Day 6 — Nominative case consolidation; greetings/basic phrases
Day 7 — Review + vocab checkpoint: should recognize 300–400 words

Week 2 — Accusative & Prepositional (Days 8–14)

Day 8 — Accusative case, inanimate nouns
Day 9 — Accusative case, animate nouns (masc. tricky endings)
Day 10 — Prepositional case: в/на + location
Day 11 — Prepositional case: talking about topics (о чём)
Day 12 — Numbers 1–100
Day 13 — Telling time, days of the week, months
Day 14 — Review + vocab checkpoint: ~700 words

Week 3 — Genitive & Past Tense (Days 15–21)

Day 15 — Genitive case: possession (“of”)
Day 16 — Genitive case: negation (у меня нет + genitive)
Day 17 — Genitive case: quantities, numbers 5+
Day 18 — Genitive case: consolidation, mixed drills
Day 19 — Past tense: gender agreement, formation
Day 20 — Past tense practice + mixed genitive drills
Day 21 — Review + vocab checkpoint: ~1000 words

Week 4 — Dative, Instrumental, Verbs of Motion (Days 22–28)

Day 22 — Dative case: indirect objects
Day 23 — Dative case: мне нравится, age expressions
Day 24 — Instrumental case: means/tools, “with”
Day 25 — Instrumental case: professions, consolidation
Day 26 — Verbs of motion: идти vs ходить
Day 27 — Verbs of motion: ехать vs ездить
Day 28 — Review + vocab checkpoint: ~1500 words

Week 5 — Aspect & Complex Sentences (Days 29–35)

Day 29 — Verb aspect: perfective vs imperfective, the core concept
Day 30 — Aspect: common verb pairs, drilling
Day 31 — Future tense: imperfective future (быть + infinitive)
Day 32 — Future tense: perfective future
Day 33 — Subordinate clauses: который
Day 34 — Subordinate clauses: чтобы, если
Day 35 — Full review: all 6 cases, mixed drills

Week 6 — Speaking Push (Days 36–42)

Final Stretch — Assessment (Days 43–45)

Day 43 — Mock B1 test (TRKI-1 sample or online B1 placement test); log weak spots
Day 44 — Targeted drilling on whatever the test exposed
Day 45 — Full mock conversation with tutor, no English
