Hi, I’m a graduate student in th MSBA program at CSUCI. My current objectives is to develop skills that are in demand across many industries. My career goal is continue my advancement opportunities into leadership positions that rely on data-driven strategy.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI). My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, as well as an Associate Degree in Accounting.
I have nearly 10+ years of experience as a business analyst from several healthcare companies.
I have hands-on experience using Excel for data cleaning, analysis, and reporting, including PivotTables, formulas, charts, and basic dashboards. I’ve used Excel in academic and business analytics projects to summarize datasets, identify trends, and present insights clearly for decision-making. I’m also comfortable using tools like Power Query and the Data Analysis ToolPak to organize data and support more advanced analysis.
I have hands-on experience using Python for data analysis, including cleaning datasets, working with Pandas, and creating visualizations with Matplotlib and Seaborn. I have used Power BI and Tableau to build dashboards, summarize business data, and present trends in a clear, visual format for decision-making. I am continuing to strengthen these tools through my Business Analytics coursework and projects involving real-world datasets. I’m happy to be adding R as another arsenal to my continued learning.
I have experience using SQL, R/RStudio, Jupyter Notebook, and Excel-based analytics tools to clean, query, analyze, and summarize data. I’ve also worked with tools such as MySQL, Access, VS Code, Anaconda, and Google AI Studio through coursework and analytics projects. These tools have helped me build stronger skills in data preparation, statistical analysis, visualization, and presenting insights for business decisions.
