At the moment, I’m fully focused on my studies and dedicated to developing skills that are highly relevant in today’s analytics landscape, as the field evolves with the rise of AI and data-driven decision making. After graduation, I hope to apply the knowledge I’ve gained in a data analyst role, ideally within management or operations, and continue growing within the industry.
I completed my bachelors degree at CSUCI, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Business.
Prior to pursuing my graduate degree, I served on active duty in the United States Navy as an Aviation Maintenance Admin Supervisor, where I gained experience in data management, administrative operations, and systems administration.
I have an intermediate level of proficiency in Excel, developed through hands-on use in the Navy where I relied on it for administrative and data management tasks, and further strengthened during the MSBA program where I applied it to data analysis, reporting, and coursework across various analytics topics.
In terms of technical tools, I have brief exposure to Tableau and developed my Python coding foundation through the MSBA program. I have no prior experience with R or Power BI.
My analytical software experience includes SPSS, which I used during my undergraduate Psychology studies for survey data collection and analysis. I further developed my skills in Python and Excel throughout the MSBA program so far, applying both for data analysis and visualization.
