General membership is always open. Specialized Analyst and Associate recruitment cycles launch at the start of every fall and spring semester.
As UT Austin’s founding finance organization, UFA is a cornerstone of the McCombs community since 1951. Decades later, our mission remains unchanged: to provide a welcoming, high-impact environment where any student can explore their curiosity about finance.
The Analyst Program serves as the foundation for your journey in UFA. Designed for underclassmen and new members, the program offers an additional weekly meeting beyond the general member meeting — giving you more opportunities to get involved and meet new people.
Sessions are lecture-based, led by our Directors of Investment and Consulting, and focus on building technical knowledge in accounting, valuation, modeling, market analysis, problem-solving, and strategy.
