Abstract

This study analyzes the screen presence of the ten most prominent characters in the television series Game of Thrones. Using data on total screentime (in minutes) and number of episodes appeared in, we identify key patterns in character visibility across the series. Results indicate that Tyrion Lannister accumulates the greatest total screentime, followed closely by Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. These findings reflect the narrative centrality of certain characters throughout the show’s eight seasons.

Introduction

In our analysis of teh game of thrones dataset, we compare screentime and numbers of starred episodes for all characters. We then label all characters with a high screentime (top 10).
