For best performance it is recommended to zoom into the map first, then turn on layers of interest.
Layers are available for active sites and subsites that may be surveyed by I-WeBS, and for retired subsites. Associated codes can also be displayed. REtired subsites include locations no longer suitable for waterbirds, and arrangements of subsites that were used in the past. SPAs and Marine SPAs within 2 km of an I-WeBS site can also be displayed.
