Updated DAP Electives
Electives
Students will complete four elective courses for the MS in Data Analytics and Policy, in addition to the six required core courses, for a total of ten courses to complete the degree. Courses are organized here by topic area; all courses on this page are eligible electives.
With advisor permission, a student may take up to two electives towards the degree that are not otherwise listed here (“out of program” electives). The course must be graduate-level, satisfy course hour requirements, and be relevant to the Data Analytics and Policy curriculum. Please contact your advisor to arrange this.
Note: three courses are still listed in the catalog for administrative reasons, but will not be offered again. These are Database Management Systems, Cloud Computing for the Public Sector, and Math for Data Scientists.
