Exam Reflection
Results Summary
I passed the Google Analytics 4 Certification exam with a score of 94%. **. The exam tested knowledge of GA4 reports, events, and analysis tools. This certification taught me how to follow and track user behavior as well as analyze website performance using GA4.
Top 3 Most Challenging Topics
- GA4 events – It was challenging to understand how GA4 tracks actions as events.
- Exploration reports – Learning when to use reports like funnel exploration and path exploration took time to understand.
- Attribution models – Understanding how GA4 assigns credit for conversions across different marketing channels was difficult.
Two Concepts I Wish I Could Redo
- Some questions required interpreting user paths through a website which I found difficult.
- I wish I had reviewed how GA4 assigns credit to different channels and conversions.
CEP Connection
One thing I will change in my CEP measurement plan is prioritizing the event tracking and funnel analysis. Instead of only looking at traffic numbers, I plan to track important user actions such as sign-ups and purchases. I will also use funnel exploration to see where users stop before completing a conversion. Ultimately, this will help improve the user experience and increase conversions.
GA4 Readiness Check (Google Demo Account)
This report shows the different actions users take while on the website. This includes actions such as:
- Page views
- Product views
- Purchases
- Session start
Tracking these events helps us measure consumer engagement. This information supports the project goal by helping analyze how users interact with the site which can help buisnesses improve their websites moving forward.
