1 What is the main purpose of our study?
The main goal of this course is to understand Data Science Programming — which is a combination of statistics, mathematics, programming (languages such as Python and R), and domain understanding to process data so that you can get useful insights and make better decisions.
it involves techniques such as data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data processing to support decision-making and automation
2 Why do we learn about it?
We study Data Science Programming because:
Data is now crucial in many fields such as business, research, and government.
Programming helps us process, clean, analyze, and visualize data more efficiently than manual methods.
Programming allows us to create models, automate tasks, and gain insights that are not easily visible without computers.
It supports data-driven decision making in various fields.
It is an essential skill in data science, artificial intelligence, and modern industries.
3 What tools do we have to be expert about?
Some tools that are essential for Data Science Programming include:
Programming languages such as Python and R, as they are widely used in data analysis and machine learning.
Basic programming concepts, such as variables, data types, if-else statements, loops, and functions.
Software or an IDE for writing and running code, such as RStudio or other editors.
Supporting libraries or packages that aid in data analysis and visualization.
By mastering these tools, we can work more effectively in processing and analyzing data.
4 Give your interest domain knowledge (Data Science)?
My interest domain is business analytics. I am interested in learning how data science can be used to analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends. I want to understand how programming helps process large amounts of data efficiently and generate reports that support decision-making. By using tools like Python or R, I hope to build skills in data visualization and predictive analysis to help businesses improve their strategies.
