Write about the positive and negative aspects of this hatecrimes dataset.
List 2 different paths you could hypothetically like to study about this dataset at some future point.
The positive aspects/strengths of the hate crimes dataset are that almost all of the visuals using the dataset are straightforward and easy to grasp. The color scheme helps me quickly distinguish between the difference in categories on the graphs. The detailed explanations for what each code does is very descriptive and understanding. However there are some issues with the hatecrimes dataset. One issue that I have is for the graph with the title “NY State Division of Criminal Justice Services”. It is very difficult to see the bar graphs well because there are so many and the numbers under the graph are overlapping which is another issue. And there are similar problems in some of the other graphs as well. And it was be easier to read the words if only the first letter is capitalized. And for some of the graphs to be larger as well. Two different paths I could study about this dataset is what caused them to commit these hate crimes and to have the complete details of each person’s offense. I want to know why they commit this crime and what should happen to them.
