Lalu, fungsi cov() hitung varians pada diagonal utama matriks dan kovarians antar pasangan variabel di luar diagonal. Sehingga, output menunjukkan varians dan hubungan antar variabel numerik dalam dataset. Nilai pada diagonal utama merupakan varians masing-masing variabel pada ConvexArea dan Perimeter yang memiliki varians yang besar menandakan cukup menyebar.

Sementara, nilai di luar diagonal merupakan kovarians antar variabel. Kovarians yang bernilai positif sebagian besar variabel ukuran menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan satu variabel cenderung diikuti peningkatan variabel lainnya.
