Hi! My name is Charles Hallstrom. I’m currently studying for my bachelor’s in Applied Cyber Analytics at UTSA with minors in Management Science and Digital Forensics.

A few quick facts about me:

  • I’m based in San Antonio, Texas.

  • I’m interested in cars, computers, and building things.

  • Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, 3 boys, and 3 dogs.

Synopsis

I am finally getting my balchelor’s degree after spending 13 years in the United States Army, I have been to 4 different colleges and have accumulated about 250 credit hours that are finally culminating into a 120 credit hour degree.

  • Applied Cyber Analytics - University of Texas at San Antonio - 76 Credit Hours

Relevant coursework: According to each college I went to all of the course material I have taken is supposedly relevant to the corresponding degree, I don’t agree with that as I have had to take College Algebra at 3 different colleges but what do I know.

Professional Background

Military Intelligence Systems Integrator, United States Army

  • Provided support for the support and integration of military intelligence systems on local infrastructure.

  • Directly led seven soldiers overseeing the support of 800 soldiers and 1900 pieces of equipment.

Experience with R and Data Mining

  • I have some experience with R but not much with data mining, all of my experience has been in a learning environment so I would not say that I am fluent.
