Introduction

Hello! My name is Karthik Raturi. I am currently a student in the MSIS program.

Fun fact: I am really interested in learning how data analysis applies to the music industry as an independent musician and artist.

  • Undergraduate: Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Bachelor’s of Music Performance; Minor: Business Administration
  • Current: UC Lindner College of Business, Master of Information Systems program; Data Analytics Certificate program

Professional Background

I currently work as a Music Teacher at Queen City Music Studio, and business owner of TasteFull, LLC.

Technical Experience

Experience with R

  • Current Level: Beginner
  • Experience: I am new to R! I have “scratched the surface” with .R and .Rmd files and am learning how to use libraries like readr for importing data.

  • Excel: Advanced (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Tableau: Novice (Have taken Data Visualization previously if anyone else is in the course!)
