My name is Jorgen Kerens. I am starting my first semester in the MS Business Analytics program at the University of Cincinnati. I live here in Cincinnati with my 2 cats, Egg and Benji. In my free time, I like to read books and play games on my Switch.
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with my BA in Operations Management in 2020. During the course of my undergraduate program, I worked a handful of jobs including a Ride Operator (and eventual supervisor) at Kings Island, a Warehouse Associate at Amazon, and a UM Support Worker at Sheakley Unicomp. I made the decision to return to the University of Cincinnati to pursue my MBA in 2021 and completed the program in 2023. During my MBA coursework, I started working at PL Marketing, which is where I currently work, as a Space Planning Analyst. I’ve worked on the adult beverage team for the past three years and have focused mainly on Spirits and Liquor in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Wyoming, and West Virginia.
While my experience with R is rather limited, I have been able to use it in classes during my MBA. We mainly focuses on linear regressions previously, so I have a relatively firm grasp on those concepts. I am also taking Data Mining I this semester, so I have been using R for that course as well. Aside from R, I have used a handful of other programs.
