I am a Buffalo, NY native (go Bills!) who moved to Ohio for undergrad and never left! I love dogs, traveling, being outdoors, curling up with a good book, and cooking. I have always been passionate about social justice and hope to pursue a career in a field that allows me to blend my interests in psychology, data science, and advocacy.
I currently work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital at as a Clinical Research Coordinator. I work in acute inpatient psychiatry, helping to improve care for patients with significant mental and behavioral health needs. Much of my work involves:
Before my current role, I was a Registered Behavior Technician for a year, working with kids with autism on behavioral goals. I also worked in Xavier’s Center for Population Health, writing IRBs and advancing several research projects.
I am new to R! I have heard great things about it from coworkers and professors, as it is frequently used in my field. This class is my first time actually using it. I am excited to continue learning about what this software has to offer.
I have the most experience using SPSS. In the field of psychology, this has historically been widely used and taught. In my current role, I use SPSS almost daily and have become very familiar with writing syntax.
As I move through the Data Analytics Certificate program, I am also becoming more familiar with SQL, Tableau, and Python.
