In the figure below, we plotted trends of overall combination of A and overall combination of B variants. A_p is overall A variant confirmed to overall tests conducted, similarly, overall B_p is given as overall cumulative B variant cofirmed cases to overall tests.

AUTOCORRELATION BETWEEN USA AND AUSTRALIA.

Below for the correlation plot, we see that stronger correlation is obtained by the USA for A_p variant, leading AUS by about 26 weeks, Lag is put in the plot in lag units in weeks, (lag_weeks = lag * 52).
