Slide 1: Motivation & Goal

Fuel efficiency is an important factor for both consumers and manufacturers. Understanding which vehicle characteristics affect miles per gallon (MPG) can help inform better design choices and purchasing decisions.

Goal of this pitch:
To demonstrate a simple, reproducible approach to exploring how vehicle weight relates to fuel efficiency using R.

Slide 2: Dataset Description

This analysis uses the built-in mtcars dataset in R, which contains technical specifications and fuel consumption data for 32 automobiles.

Key variables used: - mpg: Miles per gallon (outcome) - wt: Weight of the car (in 1000 lbs)
