Overview

I am currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University. I used to work as a teacher at South China Normal University for twenty years and was a visiting scholar at Monash University from 2018 to 2019. I am interested in higher education, vocational education, comparative education, history of education, and educational psychology, with a particular focus on the academic genealogy of education in China and the differences in the higher education system between China and Western countries. I am also devoted to graduate employability, personality, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and occupational health psychology, especially for vulnerable populations, using quantitative and qualitative research methods. I have published a wide range of high-quality works and built high visibility in the international academic society. I am seeking an in-depth collaboration with those who desire to continuously contribute to the research on the internationalization of higher education and occupational behavior.

个人简介

吴世勇,教育学博士,广东技术师范大学教育科学学院教授,博士生导师。曾任华南师范大学在线职业教育研究中心主任、教育科学学院教授。曾赴澳大利亚Monash University教育学院担任访问学者;曾在小学、中学、大学有过多年从教经历;曾在高校科研管理部门工作多年,兼任过华南师范大学社科处副处长;曾在广东省教育厅教育部等部门挂职锻炼,对教育行政管理和学校教学科研工作有独到见解;同时也与国际学术界建立了紧密的联系,具有一定的国际学术影响力。
