1. Introduccion

En este libro se explicara la descarga de datos del suelo de soilgrids e igualmente la proyeccion de estos en un modelo de estructura raster. En resolucion de 250m.

Descargar estos datos en R da facilidad en la proyeccion de estos ya que se descargan en un solo paquete, por ejemplo en QGIS estos datos debben ser descargados por fragmentos haciendo las largo el proceso y aumentando el margen de error en la proyeccion.

Por otro lado es importante resaltar SoilGrids puede accederse desde R mediante los siguientes servicios ofrecidos por ISRIC:

Web Mapping Service (WMS): permite la visualización y el acceso rápido a vistas generales de los datos.

Web Coverage Service (WCS): facilita la descarga de subconjuntos de mapas, siendo ideal para integrar datos de SoilGrids en otros modelos o análisis espaciales.

Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV): posibilita la descarga completa de los mapas globales en formato VRT (Virtual Raster Tile).

2. Configuracion del cuaderno

Lo primero sera limpiar el espacio de trabajo:

2.1 Soilgrids

Soilgrids ofrece cobertura mundial y coherencia entre los limites de paises u otros territorios, sus datos son modelos globales y en Colombia esto se compara con el responsable de la cartografia nacional el Instituto Geografico Agustin Codazzi (IGAC). Cuya informacion es detallada y precisa.

2.2 Definir Variables de valor

Primero definimos el URL correspondiente a ISRIC y creamos los objetos que necesitamos:

3. Amazonas

En este momento haremos la lectura del GeoPackage del departamento del amazonas, informacion previamente recopilada del DANE.

Mediante esta funcion traducimos las unidades en las que estan los datos por unidades mas digeribles. Dividiendo entre 10 porque es el factor de conversion indicado.
