A student did a webinar with an Australian student about how climate change is being worked on in the two locations. Many have worked on fundraising for global projects. Some are doing indoor farming with tower gardens, as well as grow systems they design and build themselves, to partner with community nonprofits for feeding families. After being named a Top 50 Global Teacher, my students began to see learning — and themselves — differently. Many of them come from low-income homes, and for years they struggled with self-belief and motivation. But the award gave them a sense of pride and possibility; they saw that their teacher from a public school could be recognized globally, and it made them realize that greatness can come from anywhere. Estos dos temas han sido fundamentales en mi trabajo como orientador : el trabajo para reforzar la convivencia entre pares (prevención de violencia y bullying) y el fortalecimiento del desarrollo vocacional. En el primero de los temas ha habido una reducción muy importante de los conflictos entre estudiantes y el fortalecimiento de la convivencia escolar. En el segundo tema, los estudiantes han adquirido mayor conocimiento de sus intereses vocacionales y su preparación para su futuro vocacional. 1 1.6% 3.7%
Gracias a mi proyecto Aula del Futuro, muchos estudiantes se sienten motivados y apasionados por aprender, creando proyectos de innovación que resuelven problemas reales de inclusión y sostenibilidad. Los de Informática ganaron primer lugar nacional, el segundo lugar binacional. En Ciencias, obtuvieron el primer lugar binacional, y en Lengua y Literatura, premios locales en oratoria y pintura. Estos logros demuestran cómo las Aulas del Futuro replicadas están dando resultados exitosos 1 1.6% 3.7%

My community children were invited to the University of Limpopo to attend a summit organized by Dr Erica Filmon from the University of Georgia and the University of Johannesburg in 2023. They presented their technology project using AR and AI. I also presented what im doing both online and at my community. Some of my community that past my hands are now at university level pursuing their studies and they do well. They took part in Mandela day 67 minutes of service by coding and do robotics. 1 1.6% 3.7%

Students create and send Solar Backpacks to VTA'S in Ukraine and Jamaica. Students convert shipping containers into Skilled Trades classrooms to send to Honduras. Students collaborate with other schools one being led by a fellow VTA and build over 100 Prosthetic Legs per year to take to Latin America where they are fit on amputees in great need. 1 1.6% 3.7%
