Electric Vehicles Market Overview January 2025 to September 2025

Over the period of time shown in the graph Tesla Model Y is the most bought Electric Vehicle, it is leading by a huge margin.
There are four BYD models featuring in this list which makes it the most bought brand in the list.
You can see that buying electric cars is getting much more affordable as now there are more car companys manufactruing electric cars and not just Tesla being the company that manufactures electric cars.

Month wise Electric Vehicles Demand

As shown in the graph June is shown to the month which has the number of EV sales from January to September, that is when the most sales have occurred and the demand had increased a lot and coming to July the sales have gone down dramatically.
The early months had started off a little bit slowly but by June the sales had up by a lot and recovered the loss made in the early months of the year.
After June the sales had went down a little bit, but in September the sales had went up again, due to the arrival of the new models.

After looking at the statistics, the data clearly indicates that Tesla and BYD are dominating the sales compared to the other companies.
The sales patterns are also increasing, this indicates that a lot of people in Australia are considering switching to driving Electric cars.
This dataset would also help how us understand how many people are buying Electric cars and we could also understand the performance and demand of each car company depending on the sales shown on the dataset.
