1 :Introduction
The Kenya team, comprising both the MEL and Program teams, is currently conducting a Carbon Measurement Verification Exercise whose aim is to quantify the amount of carbon sequestered in trees and soils among 280 sampled farmers participating in the Forest Garden Program across Kisumu, Homa Bay, and Migori counties. The subsequent sections present a detailed overview of the data distribution, highlighting cumulative targets for each of the three regions and their respective Project Units. This exercise aims to ensure equitable representation across all targeted areas, thereby strengthening the credibility, accuracy, and robustness of the verification process.
