Fakat veri setini türlere ayırmadan incelediğimizde gaga uzunluğu arttıkça gaga derinliğinin hafif eğimli bir şekilde azaldığı görülmüştür. Türlere göre veriyi incelediğimizde gaga uzunluğu ve gaga derinliği ilişkisi yön değiştirerek pozitif bir hale gelmiş, gaga uzunluğu arttıkça gaga derinliğinin de arttığı görülmüştür.
Bu sebeple analiz yaparken alt boyutlara da bakarak analizi gerçekleştirmemiz gerekmektedir. Yoksa var olan bir durumu genel veri üzerinden yanlış yorumlayabilme ihtimalimiz olur. Simpson paradoksu tüm verinin bize sunduğu ile alt grupların bize sunduğunun farklı olması durumudur. İncelemesini yaptığımız penguen verisinde de aynı paradoks mevcut durumdadır.
