About Me: Lucía Gómez
I’m Lucía Isabel Gómez Cambra, a Risk Management and Insurance major at the University of South Florida . Originally from Panama, I’m passionate about helping people understand and access insurance as a tool for security and empowerment. I’ve gained hands-on experience at Seguros Infinity, where I improved client communication, streamlined operations, and helped grow the customer base by 20%. I’m active in Gamma Iota Sigma and believe in using education to create opportunity—especially for Hispanic communities navigating new systems. My goal is to build a career in the U.S. insurance industry, then return to Panama to modernize my family’s business with inclusive, client-focused practices.
