Introduction

The goal of this milestone report is to demonstrate progress on the Capstone Project by showing that the training data has been successfully downloaded and explored.
The final objective of the project is to create a predictive text application (similar to smartphone keyboards) using a Shiny app. This milestone focuses on basic data exploration and outlines plans for the eventual prediction algorithm and app.

Data Loading

The dataset comes from the HC Corpora project and contains text from blogs, news, and Twitter in English (en_US).
