I wanted to find the country who has won the most medals throughout every Olympics whether it be gold, silver, or bronze. To do this I first made a new dataset called “medals” where I selected only the “teams” and “medal” columns out of the “olympics” dataset. After that I grouped the data in the new “medals” dataset by teams and then summarized the number of medals each team had. I then made a new data set called “Most” where I filtered “medals” to find the team with the maximum (or most) number of medals won. Unfortunately there were countries with multiple team names that had medals but I was unsure how to group those together. So the data I found might not be entirely accurate.
