Michael Morelli}

Hello, my name is Michael Morelli. I am a master’s degree student in business analytics at Xavier University. I am married to Shannon Morelli and have two children, a son, who will graduate from college with BA in Mathematics in December 2025 and a daughter, who is a student in college.

I have a BA and MS in Mathematics from UC and a PhD in Math from the University of Nebraska. Also, I have a BA in Economics and a BA in Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies from Rutgers Universiy in Camden, New Jersey.

For many years, I was a college math teacher. In addition, I taught high school math for one year in New Jersey while earning a NJ Standard Certificate Teacher of Mathematics in the Alternate Route Program. Recently, I taught Economics at Rutgers University in Camden and in the Business Analytics Program in the Lindner College of Business.

About 25 years ago, I worked in industry on FAA and Naval Radar projects for Lockheed-Martin in Minnesota and New Jersey. I also worked on radar and epidemiology for Dyamics Technology Incorporated in the Washington, DC area.

My experience with R is in a graduate classes in Regression at Rutgers University and a Time Series class at UC. My other experience with software and programming is with FORTRAN, BASIC, and Excel.
