Hi! I am Ryan Springer, a junior Marketing and Business Analytics student at Xavier University. I am hoping to eventually get a career having to do with consulting or analytics and insights.

Professional Background

I am a current full-time student at Xavier University, in the Williams College of Business, working toward my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A), as a double major in Marketing and Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS). I graduated high school in Rochester, NY at The Aquinas Institute of Rochester. I have worked several years as a waitress in restaurants, which has helped me excel in multitasking, communication, teamwork, customer service, and problem solving. On a more technical scale, I serve on the board of the BAIS Club at Xavier and volunteered for the Cincinnati Observatory to analyze hundreds of customer surveys and conduct data analysis on them to help improve their marketing and outreach. I am looking forward to continuing my studies and further my business knowledge as I seek jobs and internship opportunities to solidify and grow my skills.

Experience with R and Data Mining

I had been unfamiliar with R prior to this semester, but am enjoying learning about it and growing my software and analytics knowledge. I believe R will be very helpful for me in organizing data in the future.
