Academic Background

I am currently a Marketing major and Business Analytics minor at Xavier University. My focus is on data analysis and consumer behavior.

Professional Background

I’ve had the chance to dive into both marketing and operations in a few different roles. This past summer, I was a Marketing Intern at Cotiviti in Cincinnati, where I worked with multiple teams to make campaigns actually click, dug into data with Excel and Power BI, helped plan events, and even contributed to internal training videos. I also got to roll out new tools like 1Password and Snagit, making everyone’s workflow a bit smoother. Before that, I managed operations at St. Paul Aquatics, where I focused on creating fun and safe programs, boosting revenue, and running social media campaigns that grew our Instagram following by 20% in just three months. Making sure customers had a great experience was always a top priority, and I loved figuring out ways to solve problems on the fly.

Experience with R and Data Mining

So far I have only used R for what we’ve done in class, which is mostly analyzing and visualizing data. However, I have a little experience with data mining using SQL.

Experience with other analytic software

I have experience with multiple data mining and visualizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. I’ve used these to analyze and report on data, as well as find patterns and correlation between different datasets through the use of regression models and T tests.
