Hi everyone! My name is Sady Espinosa, I am currently a senior at UTSA and I work at North Star Mall as a retail store manager. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and furthering my R knowledge!

Professional Background

After graduating high school I started working at North Star mall as an associate and quickly moved my way up to a manager. I have been working there for about 2 years and have learned a lot of important management skills as well as time management and delegation skills. Although my job is technically not in the data analysis field I do try to implement my knowledge from UTSA to help us reach our sales targets. I regularly watch our KPI’s (sales data and information) and help my team grow and understand our targets not just tell them what they are.

Experience with R and Data Mining.

I first started learning R in my high school statistics class and that’s where I discovered I really enjoyed data analysis. Thanks to my statistics class, coming into college I had a solid foundation of R and was able to pick up quickly learning new skills in the MS 3083 course. along with R I have some knowledge in other data mining applications such as :
