Who am I?

Hi! I’m Harlan Ritchie. I’m currently a student at
UTSA with strong interests in analytics and applied
data work. This page is a short bio to help you get to know me.
Synopsis
- Passionate about using data to solve real problems and tell clear
stories.
- Comfortable switching between point‑and‑click tools and code
(SAS/R).
- Outside of class, I’m into sports, the gym, and exploring San
Antonio.
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s coursework in Business Analytics at University of
Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
- Relevant classes: MS3083 (SAS Enterprise Guide),
data mining, project management, and R coursework.
Professional Background
- Experience as a valet attendant and with various
campus and course projects relating to Business Analytics.
Experience with R & Data Mining
I’ve been using R for recent coursework and homework
assignments. I’m growing comfortable with R Markdown and reproducible
reporting.
Experience with Other Analytic Software
- SAS / SAS Enterprise Guide for point‑and‑click and
PROC workflows.
- Excel for quick checks and presentation
tables.
- Tableau for data visualization.
