I have created a scatter plot. The plot shows monthly temperatures in New York. This does not seem like a normal scatter plot because all the dots seems to fall on distinct lines. This is because the months were originally a categorical variable, therefore there is no in between. I used the ggplot but changed the code slightly to make it a scatter plot, making sure to specify taking the data from “air quality”. I also used gem_point to customize the shape, size, and color of my dots. I also added a minimal theme.
