Hi! My name is Brett Robin! I am 30 years old and new to analytics, but not new to the analytical space. I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and I am a big Michigan football fan.
I enjoy watching football, hiking, video games, and watching NBA basketball. I joined this program to learn more about the technical aspects of analytical research.
After high school, I went to Miami University for my undergraduate studies and I graduated with a degree in Marketing in 2020.
I became interested in marketing research when I entered the professional workspace. I currently work at Burke Inc, which is a marketing research company. I work as a project manager for our research studies where I help to manage the day to day of our projects. Working with the different departments, including our analytical department, to create a final deliverable for our clients. This position has made me interested in taking a bigger role in assisting with our research reports. This has lead me to join the Xavier MSBA program so that I can put myself in a more hybrid role where I am creating final reports for clients.
I didn’t have any experience with R or any other programming language prior to taking this Data Wrangling course.
