Experience with R
My experience with R begins in the Summer of 2023. During my
internship at The Hartford, my manager wanted me to try to connect my
data cleaning procedure to a model already cretaed in R for a few other
risks to see their impact across the globe. When trying to download and
situate RStudio onto my work computer, IT was delaying the software for
so long that it was decided I would not build this feature. Instead, I
continued to refine other parts of the process in SQL.
I am very excited though to finally see the capabilities of this new
tool after hearing so much about it from co-workers!
Experience with Other Analytic Software
SQL I have a lot of experience in SQL from many
roles. Today, I commonly use PL/SQL, Oracle SQL Developer, and VS Code
in my role as an Analytics Developer.
Python I have used Python in a few classes so far at
UC, such as BANA 6043 and IS 8034. I find it a fun language to do for
smaller side projects. I even used it at work to count the number of
processes we would need to alter when Databricks is fully implemented at
American Modern.
Other Software - C++, C#, Alteryx, KNIME,
Databricks, HTML, CSS, and Java Script
